International conference “Cities in the USSR and the Eastern Bloc” (+ photo gallery)
An international conference organized by Olga Malinova-Tziafeta and Julia Obertreis entitled „Cities in the USSR and the Eastern Bloc: Urbanization, Ecology and the Municipal Economy (1917-1991)“ took place on February 20-21, 2020. Scholars from Russia, Ukraine, Poland, the USA and other countries presented their ongoing research projects.
