Visiting researcher at FAU; A Ph.D. candidate in European History at La Sapienza University of Rome, focuses on Transitional Justice in post-communist countries, particularly examining the collective memory of ethnic cleansing in the USSR and Soviet-occupied nations in Europe from the 1930s to the 1980s. Her research theme is „Soviet Ethnic Cleansing in the Memory of Ethnic Minorities: Perceptions and Collective Trauma.“ Currently, she conducts research on the collective memory of ethnic cleansing in the Soviet Union between 1930 and 1950, utilizing oral sources of victims and applying the theory of collective trauma to understand the narratives of marginalized groups based on ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, and political views. Additionally, as a scholar at the CEMAS Research Center of Sapienza, she explores issues of Russian propaganda, disinformation, and the Russo-Ukrainian war.
